The separation layer

Connect ore characterisation to separation decisions.

Beneficiation turns mined material into a product that meets a grade, recovery and quality target. The useful question is not simply whether a model can predict a variable, but whether the operation can act on that prediction within its water, reagent, energy, equipment and product constraints.

Minealytics can help scope the data, soft sensors, optimisation and control interfaces needed around a separation circuit. The first operating mode may be monitoring or advice, with supervised or closed-loop control considered only after site validation.

Characterise the feed

Combine ore properties, particle-size information, assays and process signals to describe what is entering the separation stage.

Estimate what matters

Develop site-specific soft sensors for variables such as grade, recovery, density, froth condition or product quality where direct measurement is delayed or sparse.

Optimise the trade-offs

Evaluate throughput, recovery, grade, reagent, water and energy together rather than optimising one signal in isolation.

Operate within boundaries

Connect recommendations to approved operator, DCS and PLC workflows with clear limits, fallbacks and evidence for each step.

Relevant capabilities across the flowsheet

Some separation capabilities are currently presented in their primary process areas. Explore the related flotation, classification and grade-recovery pages while a dedicated Beneficiation solution set is developed.

Dedicated Beneficiation technology pages will be added as site-specific use cases are qualified.
